Foil Stamping

Foil stamping is a printing and finishing technique that uses heat, pressure, and a thin metallic or pigmented foil to create shiny, reflective designs on paper, packaging, or labels.

A metal die is heated and pressed onto the foil, transferring the design onto the surface. Foil stamping is often used to highlight logos, text, borders, or decorative elements with a metallic look, such as gold, silver, or holographic effects.

Why it matters:

Foil stamping adds a high-end, eye-catching look that instantly makes packaging or printed pieces feel more premium. It helps important elements stand out, improves shelf appeal, and strengthens brand perception. Because foil is reflective and vibrant, it also creates contrast that draws attention to key details.
